Tactical Instructor

Garret Machine CPP, is a highly experienced security professional with a distinguished background in both military and law enforcement capacities. Initially serving as a combat soldier in the elite Duvdevan Unit of the Israeli Defense Force, Machine specialized in urban warfare, hostage rescue, and counter-terrorism operations across the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and surrounding areas. His role extended to being a firearms and tactics instructor within the unit, and later, providing high-risk Personnel Security Detail for Israeli Ministry of Defense officials.

Following his military service, Machine transitioned to the Israeli National Police Force, where he was integral to a police intelligence and low visibility unit. He holds a Master’s degree in Homeland Security and Counter-Terrorism from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Israel, underscoring his academic commitment to security expertise.

Returning to the US, Machine joined TACLET, the Special Operations Force component of the United States Coast Guard. His exemplary performance at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center earned him the prestigious Director of Homeland Security Training Award. A prolific author and educator, Machine has published numerous DVDs on combat shooting and several books on combat tactics through Paladin Press, which are available on Amazon.

Currently, he serves in a law enforcement capacity for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Machine also directs GR Tactical, where he has led hundreds of training courses, imparting his vast knowledge to thousands of police officers and civilian participants.
