Why Eva Founded Valortec
Eva established Valortec to help make responsible firearms education and professional development accessible to civilians, security personnel, and law enforcement students. The academy emphasizes safety, progressive skill development, evidence-informed coaching, and responsible decisions. Through its instructor team, Valortec connects technical firearms education with the human factors that affect performance under stress.
Valortec’s Chief Operating Officer, Herfel “Boots” Torres, brings a complementary background in firearms instruction and the science of marksmanship. Together, the academy’s leadership and instructors support a consistent approach to firearms education.
