Conflict De-Escalation
Valortec’s Class G Security License Training will teach you how to handle tense situations without violence. You’ll learn proven methods to calm people down and keep yourself and others safe. This is an essential skill for armed guards, where using a gun should always be a last resort.
Stress Management
In Class G Security License Training you’ll learn how to deal with angry or stressed people, like calming them down and resolving conflicts without violence. Knowing how to handle tough situations peacefully is a must-have skill for any security guard.
Legal Liability
Class G Security License Training goes over the legal reasons why a security guard might need to use a gun. You’ll also learn how to avoid situations that could lead to violence in the first place. By following the rules, you can protect yourself and others.
Decision Making
Class G Security License Training equips you with the skills to become a licensed guard. You’ll learn stress management techniques so you can stay focused and make clear decisions in difficult situations.
To attend Class G Security License Training, you must meet and/or bring the following:
Student Requirements
- Be 21+ years of age & a U.S. citizen or legal resident
- Be legally allowed to own a firearm in the state of Florida
- Be able to operate a firearm safely
- Hold a valid Class D security officer license, unless you have a Private Investigator License (C) or (CC) Security License Florida.
- Complete a liability waiver before the start of the class
- A valid government-issued ID or driver’s license

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Also, choose pants or shorts with belt loops. Avoid sandals or open-toed shoes.
Firearm & Gear Requirements
- Semi-auto pistol (9MM, 40MM, or .45ACP)
- 150 rounds of ammunition
- Outside the Waistband holster
- (2) Pistol Magazine pouches
- A Sturdy Belt (able to hold up the weight of your gear)
- Eye & ear protection
Day 1 & Day 2 (20 Hours)

Day 3 (8 Hours)
Class G Security License Shooting Qualification
You will be able to apply your learned skills in a controlled, live-fire environment. This session focuses on shooting accuracy, weapon handling under pressure, and safety protocols, ensuring participants are well-prepared for real-world applications.
