Valortec private group firearms training is instructor-led pistol or rifle instruction tailored to a small group of up to six participants. Sessions focus on safe firearms handling, marksmanship fundamentals, individual coaching, and responsible decision-making.
Where are private group firearms training sessions held?
Valortec offers training in Lakeland and New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The New Smyrna Beach location is the Volusia County Gun Club; details of the Lakeland venue are confirmed during scheduling. Together, these locations serve students from Tampa Bay, Polk County, Orlando, Kissimmee, Sanford, Deltona, Daytona Beach, and communities in between.
How much does private group firearms training cost?
Private training starts at $1,197 for the first participant, plus $197 for each additional participant, for a maximum of six people. Sessions generally run 4 to 6 hours. Confirm any other costs and the final equipment list before booking.
Can beginners and experienced shooters attend together?
Yes. Valortec adapts instruction to participants’ ability levels and training goals, with safety and individual feedback throughout the session. Describe the group’s experience when submitting your request so the instructors can plan an appropriate program.
What pistol and rifle skills can the group work on?
Training may cover firearms safety, handling, grip, trigger control, sight management, marksmanship consistency, and skill assessment. The instructor selects suitable exercises according to the group’s goals, equipment, and demonstrated readiness.
What are the participant eligibility requirements?
Participants must be at least 18 years old, be U.S. citizens or legal residents, and be legally eligible to possess firearms in Florida. Each participant must present valid government-issued identification, follow range safety rules, and complete the required liability waiver. Confirm any additional requirements with Valortec.
What equipment should we bring to the range?
Bring appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, eye and ear protection, and the equipment specified for your session. Published pistol training requirements include a semiautomatic pistol, three magazines, a suitable outside-the-waistband holster, a sturdy belt, and approximately 250–300 rounds. Rifle requirements include a compatible rifle, three magazines, a sling, and approximately 350–400 rounds. Confirm the final list before training.
Can we request a weekday or weekend session?
Private group training is scheduled by request and depends on instructor and range availability. Weekday dates may be available, and some weekend sessions may be possible. Include your preferred dates and location in your inquiry.
How does Valortec measure training progress?
Instructors assess safety, firearm handling, and marksmanship throughout training. Individual feedback helps participants recognize strengths, identify priorities for improvement, and develop better practice habits.
